Gambeson with buckles, natural  
A gambeson is almost indispensable for re-enactment and medieval show fighting .
The gambeson, also called  aketon,  padded jack or arming doublet was often worn underneath maille and plate armour.
It made the wearing of  these steel armours more comfortable for the   knights.
Made from four layers: two layers of a woolen padding, an outer layer of canvas (100% cotton) and an inner layer of soft cotton.
Materials:
- outer cloth:  canvas out of 100% cotton
- inner lining: 100% cotton 
- filling:  100% wool
